Surf Board Rental - Full Day

Had a great time learning the basics of surfing. Staff were helpful and instructors patient with all ages. Kids went back numerous times to rent boards and suits.

Really great school! Thanks Angelo for the awesome time and the great advices, you were really nice and helpful. Me and my friends were able to stand on the board after only a few tries with the help of your detailed and exhaustive lesson. Best place if you need to learn from the start. Boards and suits were ok too (other schools provide terrible equipment so it's something to be taken in consideration).

I went surfing with Etienne for two days. He gave me some great pointers to improve my surfing, showed me the best spots around the bay (entrances and exits), and was really flexible working with my schedule and the type of swell. He met me at my hotel and made the extra effort to drop off and pick up a board on the days I was guiding myself. Most everyone around town knows Etienne, so it makes for an easy experience in and out of the water. Really nice guy, very knowledgeable and good equipment if you need to rent. My girlfriend also took a lesson and his team had her standing up within a few hours. Definitely recommend.

Angelo was a great teacher, and it was so much fun catching my first waves! J-Bay is a great place for beginners to learn how to surf since the water is relatively shallow and the waves seem to be relatively tame as well (at least while I was there).
